Why is there a cow in the office?

A week or so ago a client visiting our building asked “why do you have a cow in the office?” It’s clearly a fair question. Luckily the answer is quite simple – “to increase the intelligence of our office”.
We have a team of highly experienced staff with impressive academic records, many to Masters degree. Even with such pedigree, the cow is a key to our intelligence, as are the ducks. Also important are the talking dinosaur, Mr Potato Head and Lego. As is the relaxed openplan office design. You may have guessed by now that the cow is not real and the ducks rubber.
The rationale is that strategic creativity only comes with a relaxed mind. If our team and visitors smile or laugh from time to time, this can only reduce stress and free their minds.
The cow and its associates also hopefully promote a feeling of relaxation and staff not taking themselves too seriously. Perhaps a culture of permission to be different will be created. Fingers crossed, a brave ideas ethos will be built including a search for calculated risk.
Who would have thought a cow could do so much?
